Text translation (beta)
Overview
This BLOCK calls on the Google Cloud Translation API to translate text data from one language into another.
info_outline You can connect this BLOCK after a Speech recognition BLOCK the translate the text data stored in the Results variable of the Speech recognition BLOCK. To do this, make sure to match the Text data variable property of this BLOCK with the Results variable property of the Speech recognition BLOCK.

Note for Self-Service Plan users:
The Google Cloud Translation API must be enabled to use this BLOCK. For details, refer to Basic Guide > Hints > Enabling Google APIs.
error This BLOCK is currently in beta and may become usable after the official version is released. Please switch to using the official version at that time.
As a beta version, some features may not work as intended. We appreciate your feedback regarding bugs and ways to improve MAGELLAN BLOCKS.

GCP API Key |
Designate the GCP API key to be used by this BLOCK. To prepare a GCP API key, do the following:

Text data variable | Designate the variable that contains the text data to be translated. The language of the text is automatically identified. |
Translation language |
Designate the language for the text data to be translated into. Supported languages include Chinese, English, Hindi, Spanish, Arabic, Korean, and many others. For a list of all available languages, see Google's Supported languages open_in_new page. |
Results variable | Designate the variable that will store the translated text. |
