Ravel | Common Platform

Different systems,
connected
through one standard.

Ravel is a common platform on which AI agents, existing business systems, and people
— regardless of what is inside — can "discover, connect, delegate, and oversee" through shared standards (MCP / A2A).

What Ravel is.

A common platform for agent-based development. The "Agent" Ravel refers to is not just LLMs — it is any actor with an ID, a capability, a shared standard, and a permission, that can be discovered. The actor can be an LLM, a traditional program, a person, or an existing system (wrapped via A2A). Ravel connects them all through the same protocol.

LLM Agent

Claude and others, via MCP.

Deterministic Worker

Traditional procedural programs.

Human (HITL)

Human-in-the-loop.

Existing Business System

Wrapped and connected via A2A.

The five mechanisms
Ravel provides.

01

Agent Registry

Register actors with capabilities, contracts, and permissions — make them discoverable.

02

Semantic Discovery

Not fixed at design time — connected at runtime via semantic search (late binding).

03

MCP Orchestration

Register and proxy tool providers; connect to external capabilities through a standard.

04

A2A Integration

Agents from different vendors safely delegate tasks to one another.

05

Shared Board

Locks, state machines, and provenance let multiple actors coordinate in parallel while keeping control intact.

+ JIT Authentication: Issue, connect, and discard tokens only at the moment of need. Instant cutoff at offboarding is centralized too.

Ravel at the center mediates between agents and business systems. Access control, audit logs, and secret management encircle the whole.

The idea of a "shared standard."

Think of a power outlet. You don't need to know how the electricity is generated (= what is inside each system) — just plug into the same shape and it works. Wrap things in MCP / A2A and the way to connect becomes one, folding the combinatorics from N×M into N+M. Each system connects only once, and it can be called the same way from a dedicated UI, from a chat, or from another agent.

Not just bundling.
Not just connecting.

Either agent orchestration or an MCP gateway — most platforms lean to one side. Ravel offers both, and adds mechanisms for distributed agents on top (Shared Board, A2A, JIT authentication). That is why we can safely coordinate many actors at scale, all the way through to production operations.

The capability to keep
increasingly complex
AI agents
running on the front lines.

Ravel is a platform dedicated to agent governance and operations. "What you can build" (our agent development capability) and the neurosymbolic AI that backs explainability — a defining feature of how we build are introduced in Solutions "AI Agent Development."
